Who you are contracting with

Klemet is a service operated from France. In these terms, "Klemet", "we" and "us" mean its operator.

These terms apply when you create an account, call the API, or use anything on klemet.app. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. You can reach us at [email protected].

The service

Klemet gives you one API and one interface over open weight generative models: video, image, speech and music. You send a prompt and parameters, a model renders them, and you get a file back.

Each model is published by a third party under its own licence. We read that licence before listing the model, name it on the model page, and deploy the weights ourselves. Your use of a model is subject to that model's licence as well as to these terms.

Models are added and removed. A model marked live renders today; a model marked soon is listed and does not render. We may remove a model when its licence, its provider or its behaviour makes it unsafe or impractical to host, and we will not charge you for a render that does not happen.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. You are responsible for everything done with your account and with your API keys, including by anyone you give them to.

An API key spends your balance. Keep it out of browsers, URLs and public repositories. You can revoke a key at any time from your dashboard, and you should do so the moment you believe it has leaked.

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, that we believe to be fraudulent, or that puts the service or other customers at risk.

Balance, prices and payment

Klemet is prepaid. You add money to a balance in US dollars, and each render is charged to that balance at the price published for the model at the time you submit. Top ups start at 5 $ and are capped at 500 $ per payment; the preset amounts are 10 $, 25 $, 50 $.

The price you see before you submit is the price you pay. It is charged when the render is accepted and it does not change afterwards.

Card details are entered on Stripe, never on Klemet. We never see or store your card number.

Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude any tax that may apply to you. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.

What the balance is, and what it is not

Your balance is credit toward Klemet renders. It is not money, not a deposit, and not a payment instrument.

It is not refundable in money, it cannot be transferred to another account or to another person, and it cannot be used anywhere but Klemet. This does not affect the refunds described in our refund policy or any right you have under mandatory law.

Unused balance expires twelve months after the payment that created it. We will tell you by email before that happens.

What you make

Your prompts, your uploads and anything else you send us stay yours. As between you and Klemet, the output of a render is yours, to the extent the model's own licence allows.

We claim no ownership of your output and we do not use your prompts, your uploads or your outputs to train models.

Generative models can produce output that resembles existing work, and two people can receive similar output from similar prompts. We do not warrant that output is original or that it is free of third party rights. Checking that a given output is fit for your use is your responsibility.

The models, and their own licences

Klemet runs open weight models published by other people, and each one comes with its own licence. Those licences follow the model: they apply to your use of it through Klemet, and to the output you get back.

Every model page names its licence and links to the full text. Read the one that covers the model you use. Some of them restrict what the output may be used for, and those restrictions bind you as much as they bind us.

LTX-2.5, which renders our video, is covered by the LTX-2.x Community License Agreement. Its Section 4 and Attachment A list uses that are not permitted, and they apply to your renders in their entirety. The agreement is at github.com/Lightricks/LTX-2, and we will send you a copy if you ask.

Breaking a model's licence is a breach of these terms, and we may stop your access to that model or to Klemet.

Acceptable use

Our acceptable use policy is part of these terms, and it says what you may not generate or do with the service. Breaking it is a breach of this agreement.

Availability

We work to keep Klemet available and fast, and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted. Models fail, machines go down, and third parties we depend on have outages.

A render that fails is refunded to your balance automatically. That is our answer to a failure, and it is applied without you asking.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Klemet is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, or for the content of what a model produces from your prompt.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid Klemet in the three months before the event that caused it.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited under French law.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Klemet at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by writing to [email protected].

We can end this agreement if you break these terms or the acceptable use policy. If we end it for a reason other than your breach, we refund the part of your balance that you paid for and have not spent.

Changes

We may change these terms. When a change matters to you, we will post the new version here with a new date and tell you by email before it takes effect. Using Klemet after that date means you accept the new version.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by French law. The courts of France have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the protection a consumer enjoys under the mandatory law of the country where they live.
